Helicobacter pylori

Helicobacter Pylori, scientifically known as Helicobacter pylori, is a type of bacteria that lives in the stomach and is characterised by its unique spiral shape that helps it penetrate the stomach lining and settle there. This bacteria is the main cause of many digestive system problems, including gastric and duodenal ulcers, and is also associated with an increased risk of stomach cancer.
